Primitive Junction

Primitive junctions (arrow) consist of fuzz thickenings on the plasma membranes between two cells. This type of junction is almost certainly found only in cells with epithelial differentiation and sarcomas. It is controversial whether this type of junction can occur between lymphocytes. Those are lymphocytes in this picture!
